HM,
We did linked a policy to child ou once (we were in a jam and needed a
quick fix)
That is perfectly normal -- you say it as if there is something odd or wrong
about doing that????
...and I was wondering if this would should up as an unlinked
GPO?
My guess is it would but I'm wondering if you could confirm.
A GPO linked to an OU is linked (of course) so I don't understand the
question.
If you mean you later unlinked it from the OU (or all OUs) then yes it is
still "there" in SysVol even though it is now unlinked.
