Hi all,
Well why have to remeber it ever again.. There is a free tool on our
website called Gpupdate that you can use.
This product allows you to refresh group policies on a per
machine/multiple machine, or OU basis REMOTELY.
We utilize WOL so with this product you can also restart, shutdown,
startup computers and all of this within a tool all of us use
everyday....ADUC.
This does not extend the schema in anyway and is completely reversable.
More information can be found at the following link.

And here's a little reminder I use for not forgetting the stupid command:
May the GPUPDATE /FORCE be with you ;-)

Hi
I setup the AD in 2003 Server and is running it in a Test environment.
Everytime I create a new user,I have to try different passwords due to the
secure policy, set by W2K3 by default. I just tried to get rid of it by
changing the Domain Security policy. But still I face the same problem.I
found a document that said to run secedit /refreshpolicy, but I get
unknown parameter sort of error.
Please advise me the right steps to set the Domain accept blank passwords
too.As it is for a test enviroment, security is not a concern, we just
need to test and implement Exch 2007 later the Quarter. We are studying the
features and compatibility with various OS like Mac, as we also have a few
MAC users and PDA users too.
Thanks in advance for all your helps
Best regards
Dinesh
