I sometimes feel like there is a general fog that surrounds me. I'm

She appears to want password expiration because she asked about the
notification you normally get with password expiration. While you can do
this with a script, i.e. expire the passwords on the spot whatever IDs you
want, there is no current way to do this such that users get notified
automatically via their client that their password will expire in 10, 9,
8,7,6,5... days.
You and JoeK are saying the same things, just missed each other in the
fog. :)
