Restriction of External Drives through GPO

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hello friends!

I am using Windows2000 as a domain controller (Not advanced
server) . I want to restrict external drives ( CDROM, USB) for group of
users in the network.

I have searched in google and got the following .adm file.
But unfortunately , its not working for me.

I have been struggling for last one month.
Any suggestion will be very helpfull to me.

Thank you
