Hello,
I just landed my first IT job as a system admin for a 40 user windows
network. We are on a Server 2k3 domain. Our company gets numerous
software updates from our software vendors. Almost all of these
updates use a setup routine in Windows ie .msi files. Are there any
programs out there that will eliminate my having to travel from machine
to machine installing these updates? At school we tinkered with group
policy some, but not very much. The person that I replaced didn't push
any of the installs or updates, so I don't know if it's poosible, but
I'm guessing there must be a faster and easier way.. Thank you for
your help. I know everyone has to start somewhere.
