Schema Extension on Group class

I added a new attribute to the 2003 R2 AD, then added it as an optional attribute to the group class.

I next created a new group in ADUC. Then I used ADSI edit to view the attribute of this new group.

I expected to have a new row in the properties window with this new attribute. My custom attribute is bundled in the attribute row called "allowed attributes".

Now how do I edit the new attribute to enter a data value.

What am I doing wrong?
