Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
There were no Failures or Warnings Reported in ADDiag. DCDiag was the only
tool I have run thus far that has indicated any errors.
Currently the Child Domain DC is configured as a secondary DNS server. The
Parent DC is also the Primary DNS Server. My root domain name is
"myoffice.int" so I don't have the single label name problem (right?). The
DCs are not dual homed. The extra interfaces on both computers are disabled.
There is a firewall that I monitor. I do not see any errors when the
communication is going on between these systems.
