Now, ADMT does not seem to allow to install on a 64bit operating system.
Is
there different versions of this?

Exchange needs to be removed before you demote the DC. Exchange won't
allow
changes of its defined roles, so removing Exchange will then allow you to
demote it.

Using ADMT will do what you need

The reason for this is because a friend of mine wants to change his
Domain
Controller Name and also has Exchange on it. So from what I am
gathering
it
is best to install fresh copy of Windows Server and migrate users over
and
build him another computer and put Exchange on it.

Unless you know of a better way?

Thanks,

Fred

So could you provide more details and what you are trying to
