Metaedit is used to configure the binary IIS metabase.
You might want to actually setup a scenario where you have front-end
and back-end exchange servers. The front end exchange server(s) would
sit behind the public firewall, take care of in/out connections, the
back end exchange server (s) behind the firewall of the secure area
with the databases, and you communicate between front end and back end
using IPSec.
Or use a UNIX variant for mail exchange.
