What are the results if you put in 'proxy' for credential level and set
authenticationMethod to 'simple' ?
I believe the proxy is the localhost authentication services which are
proxying for the client to AD, nothing else.
As much as I can't stand the concept of ldap as an authentication protocol
(it's not) you should be able to make it work for what you are trying to do.
Let me know what you see.

However, scott uses a proxy in credentialLevel & authenticationMethod
method, but I don't have any proxy on my AD domain name. Hence,
my credentialLevel should be either none or anonymous. I have
tried several different syntax on my ldapclient command, and
so far I've not been any lucks. Wonder if any has anyone
worked on this configuration before & made it work and don't mind
to provide me step-by-step procedure? Any helps/suggestions
are greatly appreciated.
