Andrew,
Correct. I have it deployed via GPO in several environments with no issues
whatsoever. Now, all of those environments are WINXP SP2 on the client
side.
IIRC, when you go to the download page for WindowsDefender.msi there is a
link to the News Group. I have never been there.....

I was waiting to deploy Defender with GPO, until there was an ADM. But
your not having any problems with out it?
Is there a Windows Defender newsgroup? I don't see one listed. I'm
using: msnews.microsoft.com as my newsgroup server.

Andrew,
I have WindowsDefender deployed via GPO in several environments. I have
not worried about the .adm file just yet. That might change. Currently,
as far as I know, there is no .adm file available from Microsoft.
Have you checked the WindowsDefender news group?

I'd like to setup Windows Defender on our domain, however there's no GPO
for it; at least not that I can find. I have found postings hinting to
the fact that an ADM file will be available when the final version is
released. Well it's been released, and no ADM.
Anyone have any information/suggestions?
Thanks,
Andrew
