I am trying to restore AD on server 2003 in test Lab.

I have restored AD files in c:\NTDSRestore

Server is member of workgroup and when I run dcpromo /adv switch its
giving
me error related to DNS.

System trying to detect SRV record for ldap services to authenticate user
during AD installtion process.

I am not sure how to over come dns problem all though I have installed DNs
services on test server and point it to itself for DNS.
