I have a laptop that is joined to the domain at work. When I take it home I
log in with my AD account (using cached credentials I'm sure) and I try to
access a server at work through the UNC path and get this error when
trying
to authenticate: "The user name you typed is the same as the user name you
logged in with. That user name has already been tried. A domain controller
cannot be found to verify that user name."
This works from my home PC just fine because my home PC is not joined to
the
domain.
Is this issue related to cached credentials? If so, how do I fix it, do I
set a GPO/Registry entryto clear this cache?
Thank You
.
