Hi
You can install the Office using GPO, and each time that the machines needs
the office files access to the share and no need to plugin the CD, you can
use the setup.exe /a switch to avoid inserting in each machine the SN.
If you don't want to run from GPO, next time that you install the office
select the option run all from my computer, using this method the office
never asks again for the CD because all needed files are in the local
machine.

I'm not sure what group this problem belongs in. We have a Windows 2003
domain, using AD and end users are using XP. We impliment roaming
profiles.
I just upgraded a bunch of machines to Office 2003. Now, when some users
log
onto a computer, they get prompted to finish installing Office. Sometimes
clciking the cancel button will let it proceed and they can start working.
But if they come back to the same computer, the same thing happens. Or,
if
they log on to other computers, they get prompted as well. Did I miss
something when I upgraded to Office 2003 or is something amiss with
XP/2003?
Please advise!!
Jim
