Hi
probably someone trick you by renaming the Administrator account and create
a new account with Administrator name, can you explain how did you deleted

Hello,
I have a bad scenario where the local admin account was deleted. I can no
longer choose the local machine to log on to, only logon with a Domain
Admin.
This server is one of three domain controllers. I have no problem running
dcpromo to demote this server but I am trying to figure out what options I
have to retrieve this. Backup doesn't look like a possibility. Am I going
to
have to reinstall 2003 server to recreate the local admin? If so, am I
able
to reinstall over the existing installation to keep the system state the
same
so the permissions to files on the D partition won't be lost?
Thanks in advance
.
