One of the DC keep showing the error message - 1058 (Windows cannot access
the ile gpt.ini for GPO CN=....). The file must be present at the
location
....\\sysvol\....policies\{6c710c14-.........}\gpt.ini. The system cannot
find the path specified. Group Policy processing aborted. When looked at
the knowledge base, W2K3 SP1 will solve the problem, but it already
applied.
But just in case I re-applied and could not solve the issue. On
c:\windows\sysvol\sysvol....\policies folder, {6c710c14....} file is
missing.
But PDC has this folder in the same location. So, I copied the folder and
stopped showing the error message, but I don't think this is the proper
way
to solve the issue. For some reason, DFS replication is not happened
propery, I guess ( I may be wrong). Can anybody help me? This DC is
registered DNS correctly.
