My vote would be for 1 domain.
2- If I decide to add the servers as secondary DC`s to the domain
without using subdomains,do I add them as "Child of an existing
domain?"
No that would be creating child domains. Add them to the existing domain as
member server then run dcpromo to make them DCs. When asked what domain just
type in domain.net.

Hello all,
I will be building a companywide active directory. There are about 80
companies to be added to the domain and Im trying to make the right
decision about the naming structure.
First I thought about having domain.net / companya.domain.net,
companyb.domain.net structure. But thinking we dont really have other
admins and other security reasons to create the subdomain I decided to
implement 1 domain for all strategy.
Now Im thinking of putting 1 PDC and 1 BCD to the HQ, and add all the
servers in other comapnies as DC`s to the domain.
But my question is:
1- What is a better strategy to have 1 domain and add all the servers
to this domain or have every company have a subdomain?
2- If I decide to add the servers as secondary DC`s to the domain
without using subdomains,do I add them as "Child of an existing
domain?"
Thank you .
