You could use Server and Domain Isolation Using IPsec and Group Policy:

Is there a way in AD to prevent non-authorized operating systems to become
domain memebers.
For instance; I want to allow only 2000 and XP as my desktops. I want to
Block all others (linux, Mac OS, and 98, Vista)
