Depending on the number of objects changing during the day and the available
bandwidth (Not band speed) you might be able to leave replication active at
all times. But your premious on the surface sounds fine, but there isn't
enough information on your enterprise to give you a clear answer.

I am setting up a new location that will be connected to the main office
over
a WAN link, I created a child domain for the new location and am having
trouble with permissions between domains. I'm curious if I delete the
child
domain and just make the server at the remote location another DC in the
top
level domain and configure it to replicate at off-peak times, would there
be
any issues with that that I'm not thinking of?
Thanks for any input.
