Group Policy, User Config, Admin Templates, Internet Explorer: Disable
changing home page settings.
The IE Group Policy settings are very confusing because they embrace a
variety of concepts with different histories:
- IEAK settings
- Preferences i.e starting settings but not enforced
- Hiding the interface but not preventing the function (e.g you can hide
the Advanced tab but it does not prevent users responding to the prompt
and changing Advanced settings that way)
- New enforcement policies introduced in XP SP2 and W2K3 templates
You just need to pick your way carefully through them and experiment a
little,

Hi,
just created a group policy for default web home page and linked to a
user OU.
Login as a user in this OU, the default web home page is as set in the
group policy.
However, the user can reset the home page and after resetting the home
page remain the one user set not the one set in the group policy.
How can I set user's default web home page that user can not reset?
Thanks in advance,
.
