Hi all,

Here is what I have. I have three DCs all running Windows 2003 SP1. One
is what I consider the primary DC and has all the FSMO roles, and the
other 2 are what I consider my backup DC's. I need to upgrade the
hardware on one of the backup DC's and I'd like to keep the same IP and
machine name. How would I go about doing this ? From what I have found,
it appears that I need to demote the DC, then remove it from the domain.
Then I can set it up again on the new hardware. Is that correct ?

Thanks,
Nick
