Email Password Expire Notifications

I would like to have users emailed when their password are nearing
expiration, say 1 week before. We have many remote users that only use POP3
email and I see no way in Active Directory to inform these types of users.

What sort of solutions are available? We are using Windows 2003 / Exchange
2003 servers.

Thanks,

George
