As for syncing, you need to make sure your schemas are in sync themselves
right up front or else any imports or syncs are almost certainly going to
fail. You can do that with ADschemaanalyzer. Then once your schema's are
in sync, you can import via LDIF (can be tricky since not all attributes
can be updated) as JoeK indicated or use adamsync. You can specify alt
creds with /passprompt I believe.

Thanks Joe - I looked at ADschemanalyzer and played around with it - guessed
that it did something like that. Will work further with it when I have
another bit of free time.
