Re: System stuck at rebuilding index

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi

yeah.. Sometimes this can take some time. Don't touch anything unless you
see that the server stoped, is the bar moving?

Hi,
We have a server from which we are trying to remove exchange. As a part
of this process we had to remove IIS and reboot the system. That was
about an 2 hours ago and since that time it has been displaying the
message:

"Active Directory is rebuilding the index. Please wait".

We cannot log to the system. Is this system hung? Should we crash and
reboot the machine? Or ????
