The one thing I seen is, if icmp is blocked, things work but they worknetapp is the shared ressource from domain A
slower. Any errros in any of the event logs?
- when trying to add a user to the security of a directory
* from another subnet (filtered) to netapp, in locations, only local
netapp, can't select others
* from same subnet (non-filtered), idem
=> default location = local netapp
* from one DC (AD B), default location = domain A
each click is long (>15 sec), "adding user", "location"
* from DC of A, an authentification is asked even if there is a trust
between domains
- when exploring folder,
* on DC, ok
* on others (same or different subnet), sometimes slow ...
- win DC event log: nothing special
- ping
from same subnet (direct link to netapp), ok
from different subnet, nok (due to netapp i believe, not firewall)
telnet and cifs access work in both case
.
