No luck. I tried making my delegated permission group part of one of the
protected groups (Account Operators), but I still cant perform the Reset
Password function. Not sure if that was the right thing to try or not.
Please help.

Thx for the info. It definitely looks like this may be the issue.
However,
can you assist me in outlining what I need to do to resolve the issue. I
am
not fluent in the LDAP language. Until then I will try to figure it out.
Thx.

I have created taskpads for our branch office managers to be able to
manage
user accounts. I have delegated authority for password resets,
account
unlocking and account disabling. Lets leave unlocking out of this for
now
since it is a custom script and the others are wizard generated. All
of
the
functions work well, but there is the odd user that the manager tries
to
reset and it comes up access is denied. I have checked delegation,
re-checked
delegation and re-delegated. For one account I even deleted it and
then
created a new account same as the old one and still the exact same
thing
happens. I dont understand, anyone else have this issue?
Note that this is only for a few users on the domain.
Thx.
