Hi
How is the security policy on these Machines? By default (Assuming Windows
2003) they're able to logon 10 times with no DC.
"Interactive logon:Number of previous logons to cache (in case of no DC
available)"
also check:
"Interactive logon:Require DC authentication to unlock workstation"

I hope that the information above helps you

Hello everybody,
I have looked all around to get a solution about this event ID 5719.
This problem appears Monday 17/07/06, on a XP SP2 client;
My boss was at home and tried to log in (normal) and he got this event
5719
!!!!
With no network at all windows tried to get a DC ??
For all, windows cache login information in order to let the user use his
windows when he is not in the office. That wasn't the first time he logged
in
offline but for the first time he refused to log in. Any idea ?
Sometimes, some of users have the same symptoms in the company. Their
configuration is well done, no LMHOST, no Wins. And last time, on monday
morning 10 users has this symtom; they are on the network but we need to
put
them in a workgroup and re-join the domain. strange, no ?
On the system event log of the DC, some event ID 5513 but theses
workstations haven't this problem.
Could anyone help me ?
Thanks,
Paul Goncalves
.
