Hi
Inline
However, the
Users belonging to Server.Administrators Group DO NOT GET ADMIN RIGHTS
from
the workstation into the server network shares. Server has latest Windows
Updates, SPs.
Does anyone know what might cause this.
The Domain Admins security group is the one that by default is added to
local Workstations Administrators Group. Of course that you don't want to
add all users to the Domain Admins, so you have Restriction Group Policy to
solve that or you can add the users manually in all Workstations. Check:
Restricted groups policy check:

Updates to Restricted Groups ("Member of") behavior of user-defined local
groups

I hope that the information above helps you
Good Luck

Client has Windows Server 2003 as a Domain Controller, using Active
Directory.
Users and groups have been added to map the Users Rights for a directory
using specific groups. All this is working as expected. Users are getting
rights or denied access depending on membership to groups. However, the
Users belonging to Server.Administrators Group DO NOT GET ADMIN RIGHTS
from
the workstation into the server network shares. Server has latest Windows
Updates, SPs.
Does anyone know what might cause this.
