Tell me do you have any firewall between both forests?
How are you connecting both forests (VPN, etc)?

i created a trust external, two-way, non-tansitive between two domains.
the trust verifies from both ends and I am able to add users from
domain A to a domain-local group in domain B.
Unfortunately for me I am unable to add users from domain B to a
domain-local group in domain A. If I browse with advanced - find now -
I get the server is not operational!?

I found a KB article 837328, but it made no difference.
