This just sounds like an NTFS permission issue. Are you sure the shares and
ntfs permissions are defined to allow this group access? In 2003 you can
see the effective permissions for a user. Right click on a file, select
properties, click on the security tab, select advanced, select the effective
permissions tab, select the select button and find the user. Once found it
will bring back the user or groups permissions for this file or folder.

Client has Windows Server 2003 as a Domain Controller, using Active
Directory.
Users and groups have been added to map the Users Rights for a directory
using specific groups. All this is working as expected. Users are getting
rights or denied access depending on membership to groups. However, the
Users belonging to Server.Administrators Group DO NOT GET ADMIN RIGHTS
from
the workstation into the server network shares. Server has latest Windows
Updates, SPs.
Does anyone know what might cause this.
