if you had migrated the accounts you could have used ADMT to translate
security.
for now try SUBINACL (download the latest version from the MS site!)

We are migrating a file and print server from DOMAIN A (W2K AD) to
DOMAIN B (W2K3 AD). The server will not be reloaded, just joined to the
new domain. So we need a way change all the existing permissions to
work on the new domain.
For example:
DOMAIN_A\Accounts has access to the Accounts folder.
After the server is joined to DOMAIN B I want to change the permission
on the Accounts folder to be DOMAIN_B\Accounts and so on for all
folders on the server.
I have created identical users and groups between the two domains.
Any tools I can use to make this easier that doing it manually? It
makes it difficult because there are some folder deeper in the folder
structure with their own permissions (i.e. not inheriting from parent)
I have seen posts about copying data to another/new server or going
from an NT domain to a W2K3 domain but this situation is a bit
different.
Thanks.
