Hi
ADAM is a good match for address book lookups.
The difficult thing is finding out what the LDAP client
behavior will be in response to the search results so typically
you might have a user or contact object and search for a mail
attribute for a particular name so you will need to understand
what query your client is using. Groups of names are harder
as the client has to understand how to query for a group and
expand it into something useful.
If you google for LDAP address book you should get a better
idea of the issues.

Hi,
we are trying to build a contact and email database in ADAM.
emails are also contained in Groups, so you can reach all email addresses
within the group.
Clients should then connect an query over LDAP.
I am fairly new to ADAM an now I want to know if it is possible in ADAM.
what objects, attribute, etc do I need?
Thank yo
Lothar Kloess
