ADAM is using its own private esent.dll, it lives in windir\ADAM. You should
be ok if you patch esent.dll in system32.

Hi,
I just had the same error again. Reinstalled ADAM and it worked. I now
realized, that after the reinstallation of ADAM W2k3 asked me install
the Patch 910437 again. This patch is about an "Windows Update" problem
and comes along with a new esent.dll. Maybe that's the problem. The new
esent.ddl might have problems with the index on cn!?
If I find some time, i'll set up an testserver and reseach the problem.
By now i'm just doing incident management and try to get up my system
as fast as possible. Which is about one hour because auf the import of
abt. 55.000 datasets by MIIS.
Bye,
Stephan
.
