First off, if they are connected to the network via VPN, they shouldn't
use OWA to change the password, they should use the standard method.
Though no matter how they change it, the next time they connect with VPN
it should ask them to refresh the password cache by locking and
unlocking the PC. At least that has been my experience in using VPN the
last 5 or so years.

Users using the VPN from home have an issue with expiring passwords.

Their passwords expire and they change it using the Outlook Web Access. They
have got notebooks which were joined to the domain before we delivered them.

Now when they change their passwords using the OWA by doing so they have 2
passwords now. The logon password becomes different because tehy have a
different password in their cache.

They dont' come to offices that often. Their domain passwords is stored in
their local cache.

How can I get around with this issuw or how do people do this? I want to
keep one password.

Advise please.

Thank you.
