Well, the plan is to have them connect on our Exchange server to get their
mails. The Exchange 2000 server in the other domain will be shutdown.

And what do you mean by alias? Are those the additional UPN suffixes?
No, not the UPN. I mean their mailbox aliases. That can be found in ADUC
in a user's property as long as the Exchange tools are installed on the
DC.
My Exchange server is running on the DC.
When I check the properties of an user, under the Exchange General tab I see
which storage group is used and the alias. This is what you're talking
about?
