Re: AD Monitoring Tools?

You can look at something like MOM or OVOW or one of the several tools from NetPro.

Hello;

We have a forest with 10 child domains in 2 states.

We commonly lose VPN connectivity due to bandwidth constraints between the locations. I am handling this issue with QoS techniques but want to monitor the health of AD replication with a simple to use reporting tool.

For now, I am running batch files that run dcdiag and netdiag on schedules and manually parse the reports and event logs to catch any problems.

Someone out there must have built a "control panel" with status on AD links and replication status; any recommendations are appreciated in advance.

If there is nothing out there I may have one written or modify an existing system to handle this; it seems easy enough.
