Jorge, the tree is running at Windows server 2003 level.
One subdomain domain admins is already in the root domain enterprise
admins
group.
The error occurs when I try to add one of the other subdomains.

I believe this is a symptom/side effect/cause of a replication error I am
getting between subdomain and root domain.
I need a helping hand in finding a solution to both/same problem.

Regards, Major.

Hi

- What is the default DFL in the Domains?
- Enterprise Admin Group is a Global Group when the DFL is at windows
mixed,
Global Groups can only have members of the same domain, but can be
members
of local groups in different domains.
-To Enterprise Admins be in Universal Group scope the DFL must be at
Windows
2000 Native or later

Tried to add domain admins from a subdomain to enterprise admins in the
root
domain and got the following error:

The following Active Directory error occurred: The specified group type
is
invalid.

Anyone any ideas?
