3 days ago the windows OS crash.
Engineer set it back to factory default.
we have 2 DCs win2K servers.
I do it as stand-alone server for 1 day and retrived data.
Then I used dcpromo to change it to DC, it collected infromation from good DC.
Becasue some users encrypt data, I tried to restore system state and the backup OS data.
The OS now back to normal and the data can be decrypted.
But the UNC name of the server can not be reached.
I can use IP to connect but first time access the shared folder is quite long.
ping IP and UNC name, both no problem.
when using UNC name.
errro message:
logon failure: the target account name is incorrect.
other users:
a windows login screen prompted out.
how can I use back the UNC name in the network?
thanks a lot.
