Hi; I followed your advice and followed the instructions from the printed
documents; however, * sigh *, now THIS message popped up, after setting the
permissions in the terminal services configuration, in which a user is a
member of a certain group and that group was given the appropriate
permissions (I gave the group full control):

Configuration changes have been made to the system registry; however, the
user session now active on the RDP-TCP connection will not be changed

What to do? I'm a beginner at AD, so please bear with me.

- Are you trying to access via RDC (Remote desktop connection) to a Windows

- Do you have any FW between those machines, if yes you need to open port

Normal users aren't allowed to logon in a DC via T.S, you need to give
permissions to allow logon locally on the DC (Windows 2000 Server). If
you're using Windows 2003 you have the option to allow a user to logon
trough terminal services.

interactively log in. I made this user a remote desktop user, set

default
domain policies of allowing users to log in thru terminal services,
put

user into the print operators group, who has, by default, the right
to

into the DC, but I still get that message. Can someone out there
