Re: Reboot several DC's ?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Yes there is a little personal offset for tombstone life time that I recommend, technical it's 60 days before you can end up with lingering objects etc, If you have a fresh forest where the first DC is Windows Server 2003 SP1.

No there is NO requirement to boot them in any preferred order.
Make sure they they not are offline for more than 56 days, as well be aware of some functionality may be broken if some FSMO role holders are offline.

Hello,

I have several DC's that will be shutdown during a week end.
Then I will have to power on them.

Is there a particular DC that has to boot first ? (For example the PDC
that is holding the schema master ?)

Let me know if you have any idea.

Thanks in advance :)
