what are you talking about?
What I did was to set the options attribut USNIntersite on my sitelink
Yes I'm using local DCs and also local DFS.
what has DFS got to do with this?

Ok, I have done that now but that is not enough, what I can se. I should
recreate the site-link connector also but that's the object I've just
changed. If I recreate that one the change will have no effect ? There is
something I'm missing.
What I did was to set the options attribut USNIntersite on my sitelink to
1 (it was not set before) but still it replicates every 15 minutes, which
is the minumum value for the replication between sites !?
Yes I'm using local DCs and also local DFS.
Could you please be a little more specific.
Sincerely
\\Jonas B

using ADSIEDIT navigate to the object that represents the SITE LINK
ask for its properties and scroll down to the OPTIONS attribute....
what is the value?
if it is 0 or <not set>, just enter 1
if something else, post the value

We have created several site because we wanted the users to use their
local
resources first but the link speed are good as a LAN. Now the time to
make a
change takes 15 minutes, which is the minimum value you could set on a
sitelink (what I know). But I have heard from several people it's just
to
change "the least significant bit on the options attribute of Inter-site
link" to 1 and then recreate the sitelink connector.
This is not enough information for me. I can't find the options
attribute of
Inter-site link. Is it the attribute USNIntersite on
CN=Inter-Site-Transport
which should be put to 1 or what ? I'm using ADSIEdit when I'm looking
for
the attribute.
The site-link connector I'm using for the moment is DEFAULTIPSITELINK.
Please help me out !
Sincerely
\\Jonas B
