Re: Need to input the account and password when access "\\DC\netlo

As Jorge said check the event logs. In particular look in the security log
at the time you attempt to connect. There should be a failure log and a
code going along with it.

Sorry, I checked but I am not sure of it. Others' XP workstation can
access
the folder "\\server\netlogon" normally except the Win2K servers (it
reminds
to key the account & password). As I know, the domain users don't need to
key
any account to access the folder, but for Win2K server, why?

I found some strange problem when I accessed the folder "netlogon" in
the
DC(Windows Server 2003). I tried to access the share folder netlogon in
the
DC from Win2K server with the account "administrator"----domain
administrator
account, it reminds 'incorrect password or unknown username for
"\\DCip\netlogon"', but in fact I logined the Win2k server with
administrator
and I should have enough right. After I logoff and login the server
with
the
same account "administrator" again, I can access the folder. But after
some
time, when I access the folder, the message happens again, need to
input
the
account and password. What happens?
