if your forest root domain is called FRDOMAIN.LOCAL
then you will find the Config NC at: CN=Configuration,DC=FRDOMAIN,DC=LOCAL
using ADSIEDIT or LDP so show the config NC

What happened to the configuration container?
In another thread, I'm trying to get rid of a CA server running on a
domain
controller. I need to remove objects within the configuration container,
but
dmaned if I can find it. I seem to recall such a beast when we were
running
ion MIOxed MOde.
