Thanks,
I had basic and integrated both checked. I thought I already had looked
at my virtual site for this but must have overlooked it. Works fine
now.

Hi
Make sure that you're running Certificate on your OWA before doing this
(otherwise the credentials will be transmitted in clear text):
Go to IIS -> Expand Default Web Site -> Right click on Exchange -> Go to
directory security -> Authentication and access control choose edit ->
Select the checkbox (Basic authentication (password is sent in clear
text) -> on default domain textbox place your domain.

How could I bypass having to enter either DOMAIN\username or the UPN
format of username@domain in XP/2003 when being prompted to login into
NTFS resources such as Exchange OWA, shares, etc.? I would like to just
enter my username only without having to type in the domain. In Windows
NT/2000, you could get away with just using username and password and
the credentials were passed on using the default domain that the
computer was a member of. With XP/2003, it forces you to use the
domain\username format and if you don't, you get a second prompt back
with localmachine\username? Is there a workaround to this?
Thanks
.
