Problems with Directory services

Hello all,
I seem to be having issues with all of my servers (win2k and Win2k3). It
appears that at certain point of uptime some services apparently start
failing. In event viewer, I am receiving error messages USERENV 1053 (Not
enough storage is available to complete this operation) and under DNS event
id 4000. When i try to restart the DNS service it tells me "the service
cannot be restarted because the directory service is unavailable".
The only thing that can bring the DC online again is to restart the box. It
works for a few hours then eventually it goes back to the same issue with
the same recorded events.
I looked online and I have found that there is a HOTFIX but it is for
Windows 2000 only. It has a note stating that Windows 2003 has a fix built
in already but this does not seem to be the case.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
TIA,
Altria
