I would start with a NON-FSMO DC...
If that goes well.... TRANSFER ALL FSMO to the DC with SP1
apply SP1 to SP that hosted the FSMOs
if that goes well TRANSFER THE FSMOs back
Do the other DCs
make sure you have FULL backups

Hi,
I have 2 DC and 1 Global Catalog server in a single domain Windows server
2003 Standard edition. I am going to install SP1 sometimes this week. Do
I
need to apply SP1 in any order, such as AD first and Global catalog
second,
or it doens't matter? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Don
