There are tools to migrate the exchange stores (user mailboxes and public
folders) to the new environment that is not a problem.

That's what i would've prefered but they don't want to lose the existing
e-mails (store)

Thanks Chris, I just started at the company and don't have a lot of

All they've said was they have exchange 2003 running on a PC (yes a PC)
and
wanted us and them to have ad/exchange on these new servers. Like you
said
if they have exchange 2003 then they have to have AD already.

I was wondering what would be the best approach to implementing
Active
Directory at my work.

We currently have a VPN over to India where we retrieve our mail
from
an
exchange 2003 server. We just got 4 new servers for AD/Exchange 2003
2
for
US
2 for India. We'd like to migrate the mail store from the original
server
to
the new one in India and then have replication between India and US.

I was wondering if I created my AD environment first here in US
would
it
cause any problems for when they do it in India.
