You can run xcacls.exe through a scipt to change the permissions on your
workstations. It took me awhile to get this to work but definately faster
than changing 120 machines by hand.

Hi all,

This is the situation.

I have install a software manually on 120 computers.

This software require local right / permission to read and write on it's
own
installed folder.

While i'm using windows administrator login, the software works fine, but
when the normal windows users login, the software refuse to run due to
users
does not have the permission to write in that specific folder.

All the 120 computers running windows XP sp2.

Domain controller running on windows server 2003 standard edition

The question.

Instead of i go and manually grant permission to that specific folder in
all
the 120 computer, is there any alternative solution be done in windows
2003
active directory ?
