Hi
the Administrator for the ADAM instance is the account you specified
during the installation on the "ADAM Administrators" page of the ADAM
install wizard. During the install this has to be a Windows security
principal
and so your LDAPBrowser will need to be able to perform a secure windows
bind. You can add further Administrators, see
"Understanding ADAM users and groups"
in the ADAM help file.

Hi.
I have installed adam and created Directory Partition. What user is
owner of this Directory Partition?
I have already installed openLDAP and Netscape LDAP and in there
installation was required to choose manager username (username is DN)
and password, that was owner of all Partitions (user that had full
control).
In adam installation manager was not required.
Usually I install LDAP and access it using LDAPBrowser. LDAPBrowser
requires manager username and password so I need to know what manager
username and password.
Can I create user that can be manager or something like that?
Can anyone help?
Alan
