Use Microsoft's FREE Virtual Server 2005 R2. - It's NOT beta code! NOT TRIAL
Ware.

Oh, and stock your desktop with as much RAM as will fit, and use XPP pro or
better, Server 2003 SP1.

Your laptop will continue to make a good workstation.

I am MCSE student. i am planning to build my own network for practice,
according to all you IT pro's, which software is more efficient and
